Bolat Akchulakov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan
We are glad that the Azerbaijani authorities organised such an event as Baku Energy Week - and at such a high level!
Many of us met at the opening of the exhibition, and we all had a lot of questions about the industry. The forum provided an excellent opportunity and became an efficient platform for international dialogue. This is certainly an excellent, worthy, long-awaited event!
On the sidelines of the forum, we meet with colleagues from different countries and discuss the current situation in the global energy sector. It is clear that in this regard, Kazakhstan is primarily interested in the export of our energy resources, given that we export a significant part of our production. We are also looking for stability in these matters. This is very important, so we were able to meet colleagues and discuss issues of interest to us. “Synchronise clocks”, let's say.Of course, there are a lot of projects in Kazakhstan that we would like to develop, which were also postponed due to the pandemic. Now, finally, everything is back to normal, we can start working, meet with investors, future partners. Here we managed to do it. Therefore, for us the forum is held with a plus sign.
