The annual Baku Energy Forum has become a tradition, and it is a great honor for me to be among the invitees.
The importance of the forum is hard to overestimate; it is rapidly transforming from a regional platform into an international level event. Many expectations are associated with it. Lots of memorandums of understanding between companies are expected to be signed which are aimed at strengthening cooperation in the energy field. Given that the energy issue is of great significance for Europe today, we realize the importance of this Baku Energy Forum.
This is the second time I have participated in this grand event, and I can say with certainty that this year there are even more participants and panel discussions.
We hope to arrange meetings with EU partners, including BP, and all major actors in the energy sector.
