“It is important to construct an interconnector with Bulgaria for the import of natural gas to Serbia from other sources,” Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i? told journalists today at the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the gas connector between Serbia and Bulgaria in Kostinbrod, near Sofia, APA reports. Serbian President also touched upon negotiations conducted with Azerbaijan regarding the purchase of natural gas: “If we immediately agree with Azerbaijan, it will be more appropriate for us. Our industry is growing, consumption is increasing. We are consuming more and more gas, and Serbia is reindustrialized. Unlike other European countries, we will need more gas.”
