“The investments in the energy sector around the world must triple by 2023 in order for the goal of zero carbon emission to be reached,” Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said at the energy forum of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) countries.
He spoke about the steps taken by Azerbaijan in this field and noted that green energy zones are established in the liberated territories: “Agreements were reached with foreign companies to construct wind and solar power stations so as to use renewable energy potential of the country.”
