The Japan Oil, Gas and Metallurgy Corporation (JOGMEC) and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) are starting geological exploration on land, and this work will be the debut for JOGMEC in Azerbaijan.
According to ASTNA, an agreement on joint research (seismic exploration, geophysical exploration) was signed in Tokyo in late October.
