Austrian company Poerner has won the EPC contract for the bitumen plant of the SOCAR refinery in Azerbaijan.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reports that the yesterday-signed contract says of commissioning of the bitumen plant with capacity of 400,000 tons a year at the refinery n.a. Heydar Aliyev in mid-2018.
After that, similar plants at the being-liquidated plant Azerneftyag will be closed.
