The annual meeting held in Washington by the U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) has confirmed the succession of the U.S.-Azerbaijani relationships.
USACC reports that at the meeting Deputy Assistant Secretary of U.S. Department of State Bridget Brink stated that the new Secretary of state Rex Tillerson confirmed the U.S. support for the Southern Gas Corridor.
The SGC in its current form is designed for the export of Azerbaijani gas to the EU through Georgia, Turkey and Albania.
