The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), which supplies Azerbaijani gas to Europe, will be able to meet about 12% of Italy's gas needs in the short term, said TAP’s Executive Director Luca Schieppati, APA-Economics report citing Italian media.
According to him, this will be possible using the existing capacity of the gas pipeline (10 billion cubic meters per year - ed.)
