Currently, one of the main goals is creation of digital control system.
ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by SOCAR vice president Yashar Latifov at the annual Caspian Technical Conference SPE in Baku.
Latifov says that 517 active wells are subordinated to SOCAR at present.
"We want to develop new wells with this tool. We have a lot of tools and resources in terms of digitalization. We’ve developed an early production system at the Absheron field. We’ve successfully implemented the application of this well together with our partners. And a week ago, the well was successfully tested. As SOCAR, we have a strategy for digitizing territories. Digitisation ensures the safety of people".
