Energy Minister Natig Aliyev of Azerbaijan has been invited to visit Romania to discuss bilateral and multilateral projects and cooperation.

The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan informs that the invitation was made by Energy Minister Toma-Florin Petku of Romania. In his message to Minister Aliyev, he also supported the holding of the 3rd meeting of the Advisory Council on Southern Gas Corridor Project in Baku.

"Romania believes that the SGC Project meets the goals of increasing Europe’s energy security by diversifying transport routes both on sources of gas and on its route," Petku emphasized.

Romania also hopes for cooperation between TSO and SOCAR.
