I would like to commend the excellent organization and successful delivery of Baku Energy Week. On the opening day at the Expo Center, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev shared his perspective on the country’s energy strategy and spoke about Azerbaijan’s international agreements and partnerships. It was particularly symbolic that, on the same day, production of the first natural gas (NAG) commenced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field block. This asset is of global significance to the energy industry.
Another notable milestone was the series of important discussions held during the Baku Energy Forum on June 1 and 2, covering a wide range of projects. High-level debates, insightful conversations, and valuable exchanges of professional expertise took place throughout the event. We were highly satisfied with the Forum’s agenda, as it comprehensively addressed the full spectrum of energy-related issues in Azerbaijan, across the region, and beyond.
